Who We Are

First Presbyterian Church of New Philadelphia was established in 1842. It was commissioned by the Presbyterian General Assembly meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. In the same year, the Ohio legislature named the church a not for profit religious society. The church located at 217 E. High Avenue, New Philadelphia; supports a strong mission ministry, locally and elsewhere in the world, and welcomes you to be part of our congregation.

Jacquelyn Pinkowski

Graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary, in Chicago, with an M. Div. degree and did her doctoral work at Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta. After serving a church in Centerville (suburb of Dayton) for nearly 5 years, she took additional training and began helping churches during times of transition. In addition to serving churches in Ohio she has had the privilege of serving churches in Illinois, Montana, and New York.
