About Us
We have been serving Throggs Neck, Pelham Bay, Country Club, Silver Beach, and Edgewater since 1922. We are a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
Sunday School is held every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. from September to June, for children ages 3 and up (through 6th grade). We also hold a Vacation Bible School in July. Confirmation class, for 7th and 8th graders, is held on Thursday evenings.
We have a traditional church choir as well as a youth choir for children ages 7 and up.
We are very community-minded, serving as a gathering place for many local organizations, including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Bronx Underground, Friends of Pelham Bay Park, Coast Guard Auxiliary, and Al-Anon. We are also partners with the Waterbury-LaSalle Community Association and home to Ms. Elena's Sunshine Early Learning Center.
