About Us
Our Vision:
We are a member church of the United Church of Christ, a denomination formed in 1957 from many streams of North American Protestant Christianity. We are an Open and Affirming congregation.
It is part of our vision to become increasingly invitational: Inviting people in with radical hospitality and seeking opportunities to go out to be of service in our community.
Our Community:
We’re a people who can call on one another in times of both disaster and celebration–and everything in between.
We welcome theological questions as part of our individual and collective spiritual quests. We look for ways to invite non-dogmatic openness in our conversations with God and about God.
We are more about divine mystery over religious certainties.

- For 150 years, we've gathered every week right here in Martinez. Each time we come together for worship, we reconnect through mutual support and companionship, reminding ourselves that none of us walks alone. Everyone is welcome at the table—when we say all are welcome, we truly mean ALL.
