First Community Church

For more than 100 years, First Community Church has been a church that Welcomes All.

In 1910, we began as Grandview Heights Congregational Church. The church became First Community Church in 1919 and joined the “community” church movement that intentionally included people from all denominations in its membership. Today we are affiliated with the United Church of Christ and Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). However, our congregation continues to represent many faith traditions.

We have remained true to our Belief Statement. We are a Journey church, not an Answer church; believe in Grace, rather than Judgment.
