First Christian Assembly

I started First Christian Assembly Church when I was 7 years old I am now going to be 76 on August 13th. The only reason why we stopped going there was because we moved. I loved everything about it. I was a Pioneier Girl, I sang in the Choir, I went to vacation Bible School ,so much more. This was when Pastor Anderson was the Pastor. I would love to go back one more time.

When I was 24 years old I joined the single's group in the church under John Tanner, a lot of the singles were there from all walks of life. I met a couple who met in the group & were engaged to each other & I thought it was sweet to see that. So I met someone there who was nice, but John decided to kick me out of the group because I was dating someone in the group. He called my mom up and complained about this to my mom. He must have said something horrible to her and he made her cry, so I never went back. I hope someone does the same to him and his so-called wife so that he will know how it feels. What he did to me was against God. My parents met in a Christian Singles group and no one stopped them from dating each other. There is where John lost his witness. He is labled a bad man.
