What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship services follow the traditional Lutheran liturgy (as found in the Lutheran Service Book). For the convenience of all, the entire worship service is printed in a worship folder.

What is the community like?
The people of First Bethlehem are ethnically and socio-economically diverse but united in a common confession of the Christian faith.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome people who are not Christian to attend our worship service and learn more about God. We also offer classes that explain our core beliefs in greater detail. The one qualification to this general welcome, though, is that we ask that all people first be instructed in our faith before coming to the Lord's Supper since we believe that a person can suffer great spiritual harm if they partake of it without knowing what is happening in the Lord's Supper.
