About Us
Pearl River First is a traditional, community-oriented church. Our staff includes ministers who help us to focus on areas of spiritual worship and growth such as music, children, students, Christian discipleship and growth, and worship through music and preaching. PRF supports our community prayerfully and through active projects. Our outreach includes missional endeavors across Louisiana, the US, and Internationally through cooperative giving. Leadership
Tobey Pitman
Dr. Tobey Pitman is the Pastor at Pearl River First. The Pitmans have been residents of PRLA since 1993, have 2 adult sons, and 5 grandchildren. Tobey and Cathy served for 32 years as career missionaries for Southern Baptists. Tobey has also served as the Ministry Strategist for the North Shore Baptist Association, the faith-based liaison for St. Tammany Parish Emergency Operations Center and has served on the LEPC. Tobey serves several Chaplain positions... for the local Police Department., for the Parish Coroner, and for the local hospital. Tobey is a Native Texan and received his education from Howard Payne University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.Location & Directions
