First Baptist Church of Astor

Nothing. I went to this church back in May of 2022 after my wife passed and I was new to the Astor area. I came in about 20 min early for service and sat in the back. About 30 people passed me as I was sitting there and not 1 person said hi and nobody greeted me. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was an older couple that sat 2 rows from me and they kept talking about how close they had to sit and kept giving me dirty looks during the whole service like I took their seat. All they had to do was ask me to move down and I would have gladly moved. Lastly, I thought after all of this the pastor would acknowledge the visitors. NOPE! It was like I was invisible. I left and never came back. Since then, I have heard you're on your 3rd pastor in 2 years. The way I was treated, it didn't surprise me.
