American Baptist Churches USA church in Manchester Center, VT
Who We Are
Similar churches often offer music styles like traditional hymns, passionate reverent, and a capella.
Programs like community service, choir, missions, social justice, and faith and work are also typical.
What is the community like?
As a welcomed guest, here are some things you might want to know:
We take up a collection during our service for the work of the church, but we do not expect our guest to contribute, unless GOD moves you to do so.
Dress so that you feel comfortable. We don't care what you dress like; we care that you came to be with us.
Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month. Grape juice is used and there are rice cakes, if you prefer, in place of bread.
Sunday School is held at 9:00 from September through May.
If you have small children, there is a nursery upstairs. The greeter will help you with this service. Also, if you wish to have your child stay with you, we have coloring books and crayons. Ask one of the greeters.
Restrooms are located in the vestry and upstairs.
Handicapped access is available through the side street entrance.
We ask that you sign our guest book and you may be given a card for your name and address so that we can send you a thank you note for sharing time with us. (please print)
Announced coffee hours provide members and guests opportunity to enjoy some of the best cooking in all of New England! Stay after worship to give us a chance to meet you and for you to meet us.
