Leadership
Terry Blankenship
Terry is the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church. He arrived n 2005 after eleven years of ministry in an inner-city church, Bethany Baptist, in Dallas. His previous pastorates have included one in Tyler, Texas and Cherokee, Alabama. Terry received his B.A. at the Criswell College in Dallas. He also attended Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee before completing his Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas in 1990. Bro. Terry and his wife, Deborah, are the proud parents of three children: Jeff, Kelly and Dustin. All of their children are grown and married, but they are especially proud of their grandchildren, who make excellent sermon illustrations: Evan, P.J., Katelyn,Drew, Pierce, and Ella.Location & Directions
