I am writing a note to thank you all for being such a loving and caring group of Gods finest ! My mother is Loretta Henderson. Our family had a celebration of her 80th Birthday there at the Church back in September. It was so enlightening and and wonderful to get there and find so many there to celebrate with our family. It was actually all family, as you all are all brithers and sisters in Christ Jesus. You are a very important part of her life and she is grateful for you all, as am I and the rest of her immediate family. It was the perfect day and I know it meant so much to her. I am grateful to have such a wonderful mother, recalling her teaching Sunday school and playing piano so many years ago. Grateful that my mother loved me so much that she taught me of God's gift of Salvation in Jesus Christ. Yes, that the loved a wretch like me. Through this life and including several miracles overseas in forward Iraq, I have witnessed the power of prayer and I know the results of those prayers each one has made. Miracles. There is no other explanation. I am grateful that through whatever we face here also whether a medical need, or ease of burden, or a simple caring smile. What Jesus does in our lives and through our lives is something none can take or cause to fail. That our God is so great, He will take a fail and turn it into a blessing, or many blessings So it's with my heart and soul and spirit that I thank each one of you not only for the wonderous friends you are to my mother, Loretta, but the men and women of God you choose to be each day. In the smile you give, or the yeilding of that parking spot or the kindness you show. It's the Jesus in you that makes the difference especially in times like these.
