What are services like?
Here at Rockford First, we are committed to the pursuit of God, authentic relationships and a life of purpose. That’s why we have purposely designed this place to create environments for all to find God. Whether that’s in the sanctuary, kids chapel in Akolooland, or enjoying service while sipping a latte in Stuart’s Coffee and Books, there’s a place for everyone. At Rockford First, everyone is welcome to come just as they are. Some people dress to the hilt, and others dress very casually. We encourage you to come the way that you feel most comfortable. We’ve got plenty of parking spaces at Rockford First, but we’ve also got a lot of people who attend every Sunday, so those spots fill up fast. We encourage you to arrive a bit early to get the best spots, but even if you don’t, we have free valet parking available to anyone who wants to use it. Just pull right up to the main entrance and leave the rest to us. We will also have courtesy shuttles running in both our North and South parking lots to offer a free ride to the entrance. If you have kids, we have an incredible Children’s ministry that will take care of your children (ages birth through 5th grade) while you enjoy the service. Our Children’s staff and volunteers are the best and most experienced you will find. You can rest assured that your children will be loved and taken care of in a safe, secure, and exciting environment designed just for them. We’ve got a great coffee shop located in the main lobby of Rockford First, so feel free to stop by before or after service to pick up a coffee or latte. Stuart’s Coffee is always an exciting place to connect, catch up with old friends, and meet new people. We also have free coffee and doughnut tables located throughout the church – feel free to help yourself! Every weekend at Rockford First you will hear a relevant, dynamic, straight-forward message based on the Bible that is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. As part of our weekly services we do take up an offering. If you are a guest, please do not feel any pressure or obligation to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives and to give back to help continue the work of the church. As a guest, you will be encouraged to fill out a communication card and bring it to the Information Center located in the lobby on your way out. This helps us to stay in communication with you and let you know about all of the exciting things happening at Rockford First throughout the year. If you don’t wish to be contacted, you can simply indicate that on the card. All of our guests will receive a free gift as our way of saying, “thanks for coming!” Feel free to stop by Stuart’s and grab a coffee and hang out for a while, or stop by the Information Center to learn more about Rockford First.

Everyone is welcome at Rockford First! We have a saying... "No Perfect People Allowed." We welcome seekers and people of all faiths... or no faith at all.
