Fifth Reformed Church has been a part of the Grand Rapids community since 1886. Today we are a people called together to live as Jesus did, love as Jesus loved, and forgive as Jesus forgave. The commission that Jesus gave his disciples is at the heart of all that we practice at Fifth: Growing Disciples That Make Disciples. (Matthew 28:19) We invite you to join us on this journey!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship is multi-generational that blends Reformed liturgy with contemporary and traditional worship elements. Feel free to come as you are and you will find a home with us.

What is the community like?
We are a diverse church family with many generations. We have quite a few young families and have a dynamic children, teen, college and adult ministries. We are a close church with open arms for all.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Doesn't matter! We welcome anyone no matter where they are on their spiritual journey.

Jon Sherrill
Lead Pastor

Jon Sherrill is our senior pastor. He is married to Krystal and they have two sons. Jon is a graduate of Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan and is a minister of Word and Sacrament through the Reformed Church in America.
