Fancy Gap Friends Meeting

We are a warm and caring, convergent Friends group mixing traditional Quaker worship and testimonies with the style and flavor of the emergent movement. Our messages are always from the Bible and seek to promote a closer and deeper relationship with Jesus our Lord. Like most Quaker meetings in their beginnings, we don't have a meeting house but worship in the homes of our members. We don't have much overhead so most of what we collect goes right back into the community - feeding the hungry and taking care of both local and international needs. We usually begin with a short (10-15 minute) prepared message to open us to God's presence among us, then settle into a time of communion after the manner of Friends
