Roy Henry
Senior Pastor
God called me to serve Him in the pastorate when I was a teenager, a task for which I am not worthy but in His perfect plan His power is made perfect in our weakness (II Cor. 12:9Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)). I spent several years trying to run from that call, but thankfully, He did not run from me! I have been serving as the Senior Pastor here at Faith Baptist Church since July 2015, and prior to that as Pastor of Administration here at Faith since 2013. My family and I have been a part of Faith since March 2010. In order that I might be best prepared for this calling, I am pursuing a Master of Divinity degree through the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to submitting to God’s call in my life, I taught Political Science at Western Michigan University for several years and at Alma College for a year as a visiting professor. I am constantly being blessed by the wonderful people that I have the privilege of serving here at Faith. God is good, all the time!
