About Us
Pastors Terry and Diane Thomas and our church family welcome you to Evangel (formerly Evangel Temple), a home-missions church in Palm Coast, FL. We currently rent another church (United Evangelical Missionary Outreach). Our Praise & Worship Band/Team follows Psalm 33:3; Psalm 98:1; Psalm 134:2 - "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. All the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD. Praise the Lord." Our worship is anointed, powerful and heartfelt...from ours to His. We welcome His Presence from the beginning of our services...and we welcome you! Our congregation looks a little like heaven with people whose roots stem from all parts of the world. The preaching is passionate! When the message is preached, it is not with enticing words of man's wisdom but with the power and leading of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:4-5). - We rent another church for our services at this time, so we only have the 8:30am service available on Sundays. Start your day early and have the rest of your Sunday to enjoy the after-glow!!!

- Adults meet in the sanctuary for teaching and preaching and prayer. Our youth gather for bible study and fellowship in the hall! Sometimes they meet at local venues, so be sure to check, first!

UNDENIABLY passionate about his Jesus, Rev. Terry Thomas, ordained minister and Senior Pastor of Evangel Assembly of God, Palm Coast, FL, has been the shepherd of this congregation for nearly 12 years. In 1996, while attending the Brownsville Revival, the Lord touched and transformed his heart with the heart of God, completely broken for the lost. This burden revived his evangelism ministry as he took to the streets with a fresh Fire and Faith for healing the hurting, from the inside out. Since coming to Evangel in 1999, that Fire is ever-burning. Services open with God's Word followed by powerful, Faith-filled testimonies from those in attendance who are overflowing with excitement for what the Lord has done! As the praise team prepares to usher in the Holy Spirit to direct the flow forward, prayers and hands are lifted high, and the heart of worship becomes evident as Pastor Terry pounds the drums as if in beat with the heart of the Father.
