What to Expect

What are services like?
8:00 am – The Holy Eucharist, Rite II A quiet, reflective celebration of the Eucharist, with organ music, hymns, and sermon. 10:15 am - The Holy Eucharist, Rite II This service is the largest weekly gathering of our parish family, with congregational hymns, anthems provided by our adult quartet, and a joyful welcome for everyone.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are new to our parish, welcome! We hope that you will feel at home here and we encourage you to participate in the full range of our services, classes, small groups, and outreach ministries to the West Side and beyond. Our web site will give you more information about ways to get involved in our parish’s life of worship and service. For a more personal welcome to our parish, please contact The Reverend Michael Seiler in the Parish Office at 310/573-7787 ext. 123. Michael is always happy to set a time to meet you, answer any questions you may have about Saint Matthew’s or about the Episcopal Church, and assist you in becoming a member of our parish.
