About Us
Love God | Love one another | Love the world
Emmaus Church is about love. Jesus tells us the greatest commandment is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind,” (Matthew 22:37) and “the second is like it, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Matthew 22:39). We seek to fulfill these commands through our weekly worship services and fellowshipping together. We also believe that our biggest evangelism tool is when people see our church’s love for one another. Jesus commands us in John 13, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” We love the world as God loves the world, as Jesus tells us in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world.”
