We are a Christian & Pastoral Counseling ministry providing Christ -Center counseling in Knoxville and surrounding areas. Our professional counselors are all licensed or counselors-in-training to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of both the unchurched community, Christians in local churches suffering from relational problems such as marital conflict, adultery, addiction, abuse, and financial difficulties.
Areas of Counseling: Emotional issues...Anxiety, depression, Grief, PTSD, Addiction, and other Church-related conflict management and relationship problems.

Emmaus Abbey Church was founded in January 2013 and at the same time began the Emmaus Healing Ministries (EHM) and School for Christian Counseling. We train people seeking to help others through counseling. We train ministers, doctors, other counselors and lay members in pastoral counseling.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Emmaus Abbey Church provides a weekly Sunday worship with vibrant teaching and preaching of God's holy word. The Institute for Healing and Counseling is a place where people can find hope and resolution to their spiritual problems. Pastors and counselors will listen to your needs and provide biblical solutions to your problems. We use scripture, healing prayer and group settings to help people gain an understanding that God can deliver us from any situation we are living.

What is the community like?
We are all from many parts of the US. None of us are from around Knoxville. This is why we are unique. No cliques, just a bunch of folks who love supporting each other as we go thru life together.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Your welcome! You will fit in because we are a group of broken people willing to love others like ourselves.

Executive Director

Brett is the founder and executive director and of Emmaus Center for Christian Counseling. He directs the staff and ministries within the Center and School and conducts the teaching ministry at the Emmaus School for Pastoral Counseling.
