Elmira Chapel

About Us

A congregation with a heart for service and missions.

Organized in the late 1800s, Elmira Chapel has a long history of Christian service in Longview and around the world. The congregation works with Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Highway 80 Mission, Newgate Mission, Rusk State Hospital, and Camp Gilmont Presbyterian Camp.
In addition, members work in disaster relief in the United States, with the Lakota and Choctaw Indians, plus share in mission trips to Colombia, Haiti, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. At least twenty-five percent of income is dedicated to outreach ministries.
