What to Expect

What are services like?
The 8 o'clock service is quiet, lovely Eucharist with a smaller number of cheerful, welcoming congregants. The 10 o'clock is more lively with choir, children, families, singles, and elders. Everyone is welcome. Dress is casual or more formal, whatever suits you. During the "kiss of peace" witness a community that love each other greet one another, and are glad to welcome those looking for a great spiritual home. We make time in the middle of the service to give thanks for the particular blessings that have come our way that week.

What is the community like?
We love one another as God loves us. This is a community that are generous with their time and talent. We have a long history of doing regular outreach. We also love any excuse to eat, study, and pray together.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You will be very welcome. Communion is offered to all who wish to receive it. It is not our table, but the Lord's table, and he offers it to all. We welcome your gifts as well, and hope to learn from your own walk.

Leadership

Linda Bartholomew

Linda Bartholomew

Married to Rev. Adam, mother to one daughter and grandmother to a little girl, Rev. Linda came to our church in 2012, from Grace Church in New York City. As the Priest-in-Charge she is appointed by Bishop Waggoner to assist the parish in its transition to choosing its next Rector, which will happen in February of 2014. Rev. Linda spends a lot of her time planning the weekly liturgy, praying, leading Bible Study, counseling the sick, searching for ways to help in our community grow, and sneaking in a regular nature jog. She is often assisted by her newly retired husband.
