What are services like?
Visiting a new church can be intimidating. You don't know what to expect when you show up and are hoping that it won't stink, right? We really want your experience here at Discovery to be awesome and we work hard to make that happen. Here are a few frequently asked questions. We get things started off with some music, then our pastor teaches the Bible in a down to earth and practical way. What should I wear? Dress comfortably. The important thing to us is that you are able to be yourself while being a part of our worship service. So if that means wearing flip flops, shorts and a T-shirt, do it. Kids 4-12 years old begin the service with their parents for the singing, and then go to an age appropriate class during the rest of the service. If you prefer, your children can stay with you during the service. Do I have to bring money for a collection? No, our church is financed by regular attenders who give as an act of worship and thanksgiving to God. Our hope is that you experience the hope of God's joy in your life. Will I be pressured to make a decision I'm not ready to make? No, we realize that many people have given up on institutional religion, but maybe not on God, so there’s no pressure. You can expect space to decide for yourself. What is the community like?
Discovery is a multi-generational and multi-cultural church. Because of that we are eclectic bunch on a journey closer to Jesus. We love spending time with each other and talking about the bible. Most of us our new to church and still have a lot to learn. We also want to make a difference in our community and around the world. We support missionaries and work with Samaritans Purse to feed orphans.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Discovery is the perfect place to begin or continue a spiritual journey. We feel strongly that people belong before they believe. We affirm that Jesus is the truth but are open to anyone wherever they're at spiritually. So come as you are and come check out our faith community.
