Dalhart Lakeview UMC appears to avoid the schism affecting the mother church. Cant we all allow ourselves to reflect the love of Jesus? Leave politics at the door. Focus on volunteering to help our neighbors not enriching ourselves. If we help others the Lord will provide. I grew up on military bases now I live in a 3000 square foot home that has books everywhere we intend to give away to teach children English and what is good about Americans. My prayer is to encourage United Methodists everywhere to be kind to all Methodists. Many churches got out to keep their preacher and many did it to save a buck. But the folks remaining United are teaching that we hope to heal all sinners who want to become better followrs of Jesus the Christ.
