Christ is the King and Head of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Our goal is to learn of Him through the Scriptures, worship the Father in His Name, and in service make Him known to all the world.

Our congregation is part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a denomination that holds fast to the full authority of the Bible as the Word of God. We subscribe to the doctrinal standards set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms.

As ambassadors of Christ we wish to be of service to you. Please let us know of ways in which we may pray for you, or of other needs you may have, and we will try our best to be of assistance. God has freely given us the forgiveness of sin through faith in His Son, and freely we desire to give in return.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Structurally, we follow an order of service that includes Scripture readings, prayer, hymn singing, the confession of our sin and assurance of God's pardon, the preaching of God's Word and the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper (celebrated monthly). Musically, we enjoy traditional hymn singing along with a variety of vocal ensembles and periodic orchestral and solo instrumentalists. Thematically, every service is centered on God's Son, through God's Word, for God's glory.

What is the community like?
Covenant is a loving community of believers from all walks of life who desire to know Christ and make Him known. We're small enough that you can get to know most people if you try, yet big enough that we share in a wide variety of opportunities for growth, fellowship and service.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We'd love for you to come! Don't settle for what other people have said about Jesus... come and hear what He says about Himself from the pages of Scripture! You will find a Savior whose grace far exceeds our deepest need and whose love challenges us in the most wonderful of ways.

Leadership

John Muhlfeld

Pastor Muhlfeld grew up in Elmsford, New York before being educated at Bucknell University (1995) and Biblical Theological Seminary (2000). He joined the pastoral staff in 2000 and has been honored to serve as Covenant's Senior Pastor since 2005. John is blessed to be married to Sharon and to have the privilege of raising two daughters. In his free time he enjoys exercise, following sports, reading and watching movies.
