Covenant Christian Reformed Church

Who We Are

Loving God...loving others

Covenant Church is a Bible-based, Christ-centered community. We are built upon the Bible as our authoritative guide for life, and we are driven by the Good News of Jesus Christ: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have eternal life" (John 3:16).

We are a congregation of the Christian Reformed Church of North America (www.crcna.org).

It is our mission to Gather together to worship God, to Grow together in our knowledge of God, and to Go together to spread the love of God.

What is the community like?
We are a multi-generational group of singles and families, united by our dedication to loving God through loving and serving each other and our community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome everyone and trust that through the teaching and fellowship provided in our church that seekers could gain a better understanding of God and grow to put their complete trust in him.

Leadership

Mark Pluimer

Mark Pluimer

In May 2006, Covenant Church welcomed Reverend Mark Pluimer as our new Pastor. Pastor Mark and his wife, Laurie, moved to the Fox Valley from the Milwaukee area, where he served as associate pastor at Brookfield Christian Reformed Church. "I'm looking forward to seeing what God is going to do here," Pastor Mark said. "I've come without an agenda, and I'm excited to see God's plan unfold. I believe I've been called here to minister by loving people and by teaching, preaching, and counseling." During his junior year of college, Mark sensed God calling him to ministry. Through a process of prayer and seeking counsel, he responded to that call by attending Seminary. He graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary in 2003 with a Master of Divinity degree.
