We are a contemplative church community where the less than perfect are more than welcome. We are a quiet, gentle congregation. We make room for children. We are not in a hurry. We are learning how to be prayerful, how to listen, how to love, how to be followers of Christ. We have prayer paths and a labyrinth open to the public for silent meditation.

Leadership
Kyndall Rothaus
Kyndall is our pastor, beginning at Covenant in September of 2011. She graduated with her Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor, and while in seminary she served as a resident chaplain at Brooks Residential College. She has also served as a pastoral associate at DaySpring Baptist Church in Waco and an interim pastor at First United Church in West, Texas.Location & Directions

I haven't experienced another church like Covenant. The small community has a rich contemplative tradition with contemporary significance. There is such a welcoming and hospitable feel to the place. The preacher (Kyndall Renfro) is one of the best preachers I've ever heard. I was only able to visit as an out-of-town guest, but I know that if I lived in the San Antonio area, this would be my home.
