What are services like?
We meet on Sunday mornings to worship God, that's it. People from all walks of life come representing who they are, seeking to know better who He is. Someone worshiping with you may have on shorts and another a sport coat. Clothing style is not the emphasis, Christ is. You may find a worship team consisting of a couple of guitar players and a piano (or banjo or cello!), or it may be a full band. Regardless, the music is always Christ focused (contemporary blended with some traditional) and done with excellence. Pastor Andy proclaims God's truth through the in-depth verse-by-verse preaching of God's Word. We offer excellent children's programs during both services. Or, keep your kids in the service with you. Children are so important to COBC that we have a full time Children's Pastor.

What is the community like?
Country Oaks just might be the only multi-generational church community in Tehachapi. With new families joining weekly, from every age group and stage of life, we try to not segregate the church but look for ways to do ministry together as a family. Our fastest growing group is young families with children under 10!
