I can’t recommend this location. The current elders, Marc Brashear and Dale Gardner are no longer qualified and are not willing to step down. Please look for another reformed Church while this is the case. May the Lord grant them humility and strength to repent and step down.

I have been a member of this Baptist Church for about to 11 years and I can attest that by the grace of God, this Church is a reformed, Christ-centered, Bible saturated, family-like body of believers holding on to the confession of faith 1689, but above that, holding on to and practicing the faith once delivered to the saints found in the Scriptures alone. We have planted multiple Churches which are being blessed by the Lord and growing in Christ-likeness, and host various events during the year to serve the community and reach souls for the Kingdom of God and love to fellowship with like-minded believers around Florida and in other states. To God be the glory!

Precisely because I personally confronted the elders was spiritually abused and was given scripture out of context for they own benefit. They only love their members not the body of Christ the moment you leave they shun you and refuse to help you if you ask for help after you leave, the elders make judgments of someone being saved when Jesus is the only one who knows the hearts. I am still having nightmares about it psychologically feel abused and I have been gone for long … I wish they preached on the gospel and grace not their own opinions on specific sins… That is depressing… no one is discontent for speaking truth and facts…. I am praying for the people there…

Gina, you are deceived and have not been a victim of the spiritual abuse yet until you go through it your self will continue to be blinded. Try leaving to see how that works for you.? Is not defamation when is a true living experience and I pray that God opens your eyes from being there as I pray all leaders at Cornerstone step down and heed the warnings from qualified pastors through the US. and around the area who I personally know who have been counseled from spiritual abuse recovery as they are are not qualified when they were raised by Dr. DOWNS, A man who sexually assaulted his own daughter and got arrested for it, I pray all repent for the spiritual abuse on members that have left in the past decade as Ex pastor Charlie did and publically apologized. You have seen nothing yet and I fear for your soul……

I love the beautiful biblical preaching, the loving leadership of Cornerstone and amazing and loving brethren. What a horrible and defamatory review from "anonymous". NONE of what was posted here is true, they are lies from the pit of hell by a very unhappy person. Sadly, this is a very discontented individual who will be accountable, unless they repent, for defaming Cornerstone Baptist Church on Snow Hill when they are before the King of the universe. Rather than express your discontent w/the church leadership, this person has gone on a public forum to spew their venom. In all my years I have never been involved with a more loving and biblical church with extraordinary under-shepherds that truly care for its congregation and that teaches the un-compromised Word of God. They do not teach "works salvation" nor is anyone under your accusation of demonic bondage. In closing, I highly recommend Cornerstone Baptist if you desire the "meaty" teachings we receive from our totally committed pastors. 1 Corinthians 2:14: "The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."

I was a member there for several years and I was having a very hard time leaving after being spiritual and mentally abused. Ask around with healthy and qualified elders in regards to the church reputation. I decided to move on because I was not growing spiritually, was very systematic and was manipulated with twisted scripture for their advantage in order for me to stay. terrifying this “church” has been stereotyped as a cult for obvious reasons don’t waste your time here I am still recovering from the abuse and other people that left I know personally had a hard time leaving too and are doing much better now. Run away!

RUN! If you are thinking of attending here I would strongly advise against it. They are legalistic and very unloving and this is not a church that would be described in the New Testament. The pastors and deacons and all leadership is disqualified. Many people have been spiritually abused in this church and are suffering the consequences of the abuse. The people there are under serious and demonic bondage that only God can lift them out of. They seem nice at first and everything seems great. Dig deeper into their lives and compare the preaching to the Bible and you will notice some things that are very wrong. They twist scripture to control people. They use scripture out of context to exert there man-made standards on people some of which are God’s children. There are other good churches in the area if you are looking for sound biblical, reformed teaching. Do not be fooled when you google reformed baptist church in Orlando and see there name at the top of the list. It is just SEO they are using. They are not a good church, and I warn anyone from going there for the sake of their souls and spiritual health. Do not just take my word for it. Visit churches in the area and ask qualified pastors what they think of the church. Qualified pastors should be looked good upon by the community and the ones at Cornerstone are not. Do not make the same mistake others have.

This church is very ungodly. They claim to preach the true gospel but they actually preach work salvation. The love of Jesus is not in them. That’s the most simple characteristic a Christian should have. Their love is conditional. They only love their members and not the body of Christ. The pastor is disqualified. I pray they would all repent
