About Us
Community United Church of Christ is a caring, diverse community of faith. We gather to nurture, share and celebrate the wonder of life. No matter who, no matter what, no matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here — we REALLY mean it.
Worship begins at 10:15 a.m. In September, our Sunday School for children of all ages begins shortly after worship. We use a model for Sunday School that offers our children a safe place to learn and an openness to different learning styles.
Our Youth Group, for 6th through 12th grades, called “The Justice League,” regularly meets on Sundays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Adult Education Opportunities are offered throughout the year.
We are proud to host the United Church of Christ Campus Ministry for the University of Illinois. Students are welcome here! For more information, see their website (www.community-ucc.org/ucf) or contact Rev. Karen Bush who would love to speak to you. She can be reached at [email protected].
If you love Music, CUCC is the place for you. Our chancel choir, made up of folks with all levels of musical ability, sings a wide variety of music from classical to contemporary. We also have a chime choir and children’s choir.
We love to have FUN at CUCC. From our worship picnics in the park to dinner parties and special events for kids, we love a party!

Leah Robberts-Mosser
Rev. Leah Robberts-Mosser joined our Community as Pastor on December 1, 2009. Being a pastor is her passion, especially in a place like CUCC where our deep questions about faith are honored. She loves listening to people’s stories and connecting those stories to God’s unfolding story in us. Leah, her husband David, and daughters Chloe and Violet, love living in Champaign Urbana.Location & Directions
