We believe that faith is not a check your brain at the door. We seek to relate and explain our 'curious habits' in ways that people can appreciate. If you have questions that is great...we all do have them somewhere. "God" is big and we are not.

I was made to feel very welcome! Pr. Jim is very approachable and down to earth. Not the high church I grew up with, but I find I am learning alot and I feel I was led here for a reason! And I'm NOT a family member! COL is a church where I would feel comfortable inviting anyone! And that is exactly what we as Christians are supposed to be doing right?

Ok, full disclosure, I’m a family membe but hear me out—- In a 21st century context, solidly grounded in historic Biblical Lutheran Christianity...creed and confession, Pastor Jim offers highly intelligent, down to earth, practical messages. Jordan offers excellent contemporary music, carefully chosen, in a well integrated worship service. This is not your grandfather’s Missouri Synod church. Great for committed believer or serious seeker. A wonderful community.
