I believe in what the bible says about love and forgiveness, our Lord said in Matthew 6:14 If you forgive men their traspasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you . But what if a church says "This guy went to prison so he can not come in to our building"How many instances of men in prison are there in the bible? check out Matthew 25 :34-46 And the king said when i was hungry you fed me ,when I was thirsty you gave me drink,when I was in prison you visited me (shortened) for this church to turn their back on someone because he committed a bigger sin then theirs to me is not following the true word of God ,its making your own version of what you want Gods word to say . I will most likely find the same thing in most churches . So where do I go to find communion with the saints? where can I go to sing praises to my creator ? . One day the people of this church and more importantly the pastor will all stand in judgement before Christ Jesus himself. What will they say then? come on Lord you know why he went to prison that sin is just to big to forgive so we threw him out, you have to see that right Jesus! . That are saying this to the same Jesus that told a man who was sentenced to death alongside him on a cross" today you will be with me in paradise", that is the heart we should have instead of taking a black magic marker and removing the words in the Holy Bible we don't agree with . And deciding which members are good enough to allow in the church maybe they will recall these words "Come unto me all ye who labor and I will give you rest" imagine a church that proclaims the word of God and refuses people from hearing those comforting words.
