Matt Hall
Lead Pastor
Matt Hall is a pastor who loves meeting people where they are—whether they’re full of faith, full of questions, or somewhere in between. As the Lead Pastor at Community Alliance Church in San Pablo, CA, he’s passionate about helping people connect with God in practical, meaningful ways. Before stepping into this role, Matt spent years in youth and family ministry, working with kids, teens, and parents to grow in faith and navigate life’s challenges. Today, he and his wife, Tracy, lead the Young Adult Community Group, creating a fun and welcoming space for young adults to build real friendships and ask honest questions about life and faith. Matt’s own journey has deeply shaped his ministry. As a cancer survivor, he knows what it means to lean on faith in life’s hardest moments. His experiences have given him a heart of empathy and strengthened his conviction in God’s goodness. At home, Matt and Tracy are raising two young kids. In his downtime, he loves good books, good movies, and trying out new hobbies—because who doesn’t enjoy a little adventure? Matt is a graduate of William Jessup University and Fuller Theological Seminary, where he built a strong foundation for his calling. No matter where you are in your faith journey—whether you’re curious, cautious, or committed—Matt and the Community Alliance Church family would love to welcome you.
