Cleveland Park Congregational United Church of Christ
Who We Are
An open and affirming congregation in the heart of NW D.C.
Cleveland Park Congregational United Church of Christ was founded in 1918 and has been active in the life of Cleveland Park and the Washington D.C. region ever since.
We are a friendly, welcoming church that is always stretching and growing, trying to be faithful to God’s call to love our neighbor as ourselves. Like other Congregational, UCC churches, we arrived early on issues of justice and equality.
We believe faith requires tenderness and courage, a kind of big love that is committed to changing people’s lives, not just in our church, but also in the world around us. We call it religion with relevance.
