City on a Hill Church

About Us

Gospel-Centered, Relevant

We exist to glorify God by inviting people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and into a community of people who passionately love God, who actively love and serve others, and who are being equipped to become faithful followers of Christ to reach the nations.

City on a Hill Church is a local, evangelical expression of the Body of Christ. As a church family, we want to see the good news of Jesus proclaimed through our lives of worship, relationships and outreach to our city and world.

City on a Hill Church is committed to the teachings of Scripture for both theological understanding and life application.

What to Expect

What are services like?
How should I dress? We welcome you to dress comfortably and be yourself. Most people at COAH dress casually while a few others do dress up. Jeans are certainly fine as well as shorts during warmer weather. What do I do when I get there? When you walk up to the door of Driscoll School, a friendly person will greet you, give you a worship guide, answer any questions that you might have and show you the way into the building. What happens during the gathering? The worship guide (a program) that you received will give you an idea of what to expect during our time together. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Card that you will find in your guide and place it in the offering basket later in the service. The card is a way for us to learn a little bit about you and to be able to communicate with you. We promise that we won’t show up at your door, but we will send you a free gift during the next week in exchange for the card. We want you to enjoy your time with us so we encourage you to participate as much or as little as you like. You can meet lots of new people seated around you or choose to remain anonymous at first if you prefer. We’ll give some simple instructions throughout the service to let you know when to stand or sit. During our time together we will sing, pray, read Scripture, laugh, hear stories of how God has transformed people’s lives, and hear a message that is both Biblical and practical. The service usually lasts about 90 minutes. We would love for you to hang around for a little while after the service. Refreshments are available each week, and our people love to spend time meeting newcomers and catching up with friends. Can I bring my child? We welcome children of all ages at City on a Hill. There is childcare for kids through age 5 in the mornings. CoaH Kids is not simply about watching your child while you worship, but also includes a children’s program. Follow the CoaH kids signs to talk with a leader to find out more. There is no childcare for our Sunday evening. If I drive, where can I park? There is free off-street parking is available all around the Driscoll school. There is one parking lot located at 721 Washington St. and another at approximately 10 Bartlett Street (entrance). Both lots are right next to the school building. For Sunday night, there is on street parking available on the streets around the building.

What if I'm not a Christian?
More than welcome! We have people from all stages in their journeys of faith.
