1971, I believe, our Huron SD College Choir and Brass Choir was on a 21day Tour of Central and Western States. We played in your Church to a lovely welcoming audience. My only disappointment was Roy & Dale didn't attend. When I was three to six years of age I loved their movies. Then Roy, Trigger, Bullet, Nellybelle the Jeep, and Pat Buttram played our town, Mitchell SD, Corn Palace. My sisters took me to Roy's show, 10th row/center. Roy opened the show on Trigger, reared up & emptied both Six Guns overhead. I was five old, and was in Heaven that day. For a couple years, 'I WAS Roy Rogers!. We were a poor family in a Cold Water home; but Ma made sure her fifth child, me, had Boots, Hat, Twin Holsters & 'Cap' Guns, Jeans & Western Shirt. A friend from 'Kindergarten' played Dale Evens with me all Spring/Summer 1950. Your's was Rural Church then, and very welcoming to us. Thank You!
