The Church of the Holy Spirit is a community called by Christ to serve the Lord and make God’s love known by word and deed. We worship in the Episcopal tradition, with hymns and weekly communion. We have a weekday evening family gathering and are involved in the community in many ways as a congregation and as individuals.

09:30am: The larger Sunday service, with hymns, followed by coffee hour and adult forum
08:00am: A quiet, traditional service.

Thursday

05:00pm: Family gathering: storytelling, activity, potluck and worship. DOES NOT TAKE PLACE EVERY WEEK - check times at 536-1321.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our Sunday worship services follow the outline of the Book of Common Prayer, though the service is contained in an easy-to-use booklet that changes every few weeks with the seasons of the church year. We sing hymns that range from traditional pieces with organ to gospel tunes with a jazz band.

What is the community like?
We are a friendly and active church that skews toward the older end of the demographic but also includes a number of young families who gather on Wednesday or Thursday evenings as well as Sunday mornings. Our members are active in the community in a myriad of ways.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Whoever you are, and wherever you are in your spiritual journey, you are welcome here. We welcome all people who seek to draw closer to God and to each other to receive Christ's body and blood at the communion table. We encourage questioning and conversation about who we are and what we believe. If you like what you find, you are encouraged to move deeper into faith through baptism, confirmation, adult formation (Christian education) or whatever makes sense for your journey!
