I was member when I was a student at Alabama State University, 1956-1961.
At the height of the Civil Rights Movement,our pastor, Father Robert DuBose
was one of the movers and shakers that allowed small groups to meet at
Good Shepherd. He, his wife Angela, son Bobby , Isadore Rich and I would often
would share ideas a a small meal after these meetings. Before his demise we still
prayed together over the phone he moved to Pennsylvania . I feel blessed to
have been in his life an his congregation. He was a real friend, mentor and father.
