I’m so surprised and shocked by what J. Johanson expressed, and am so sorry that was your experience. I hope you are doing better! I’ve had a very positive and welcoming experience at this Church. Although it is unexpected, the community has been warm to me, Friendly and inviting. Sometimes when we get in a new environment it takes multiple visits to feel included, yet this church family seems much more aware of the newcomer and Lone Ranger and is willing to be inclusive. We are failing humans all seeking to belong - this is a miraculous achievement only possible in Christ -those at Christ’s Church/ Federal Way seek to bring those qualities into each encounter; through study groups, wonderful music, and solid Biblical teaching. This Church family is good soil for healthy growth in Christ.

Imagine being bombarded with the constant thoughts of wanting to commit suicide. Then picture going to a church to help make those feelings/thoughts go away. Now imagine yourself in a group of people at said church where on several occasions, one of the pastor mocks you in front of everyone. If even a "pastor" finds you unworthy to feel at home, maybe those thoughts aren't wrong after all. So, I guess my review of this church would be if you have something to offer this church, then maybe its for you. But if youre a broken person needing to find solace, do not go here. They make it obvious that they dont want you around. You have nothing to they want.
