Who We Are

Christ Church is a small but vibrant Episcopal congregation serving the Seacoast region of the Diocese of New Hampshire. Our congregation is the home of Little Blessings Childcare, which serves the greater Seacoast area, with families currently residing in over a dozen towns in southern New Hampshire and Maine. Owned by and housed in Christ Church, it continues to improve and enhance its program.

Walking a middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestant traditions, we are a sacramental, worship and service-oriented church that promotes thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and to be.

We hope to provide a space that welcomes both the spiritual seeker and the seasoned disciple so that people from many starting points can find their home in God with us. If you are seeking a spiritual home or are just exploring the life of faith, we hope you will walk with us on that journey of discovery.

David Robinson

David Robinson

The Rev. David “Chip” Robinson comes to us after eleven years as rector of the Church of our Saviour in Milford, followed by a brief stint as interim priest at Church of the Holy Spirit, Plymouth. Before coming to New Hampshire in 2000, he served as rector of Grace Church, Norwood, Mass. for fourteen years. From 1982-1986, he was associate rector at Church of the Holy Spirit, Orleans, Mass. Fr. Chip received his Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary, and his undergraduate degree from Salisbury University(Md.). Last year, he completed special training in Appreciative Transition Ministry from the Clergy Leadership Institute. A native of Delaware, he is married to Cindy, his wife of 34 years, a graduate of Barrington College (R.I.) with a major in Biblical Studies. He was ordained to the diaconate in his home parish, St. Luke’s, Seaford, Del., in 1982, and the priesthood at Holy Spirit, Orleans, Mass., in 1983. He and his wife are long-time lovers of the New Hampshire and Maine seacoast, and look forward to making their home here.
