Christ Episcopal Church

About Us

A welcoming community open to all

We are a small parish where "everyone knows your name." Each person is on a different spiritual path, and we find our common ground when we gather each week for worship. It is here where Christ's presence comes alive in song and word and most especially, in the bread and wine at God's Holy Table where all are welcome. Children and adults alike find joy and community in the different types of mission and fellowship activities we offer.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are open to everyone on a spiritual path who is seeking God and God's purpose in the world. Our worship is according to the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. Every week, the central focus of our service is the Holy Eucharist, where all are welcome at the table. Our choir provides uplifting music to take us deeper into the worship experience. We also hear lessons from scripture and a sermon and we pray as a church family for the needs of one another and the world.

What is the community like?
We are a small, economically diverse community where "everyone knows your name," and where all ages participate in the variety of activities offered, from making sandwiches for our homeless neighbors to pot-luck suppers. We range in age from 2 to 90. We are professionals and blue collar, families and singles, straight and gay, liberal and conservative. In short, we are the living body of Christ, and we all need each other.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Everyone is welcome at Christ Church. If you are interested in finding out about the Christian faith, or if you just want to experience a Christian church, that's fine with us. We welcome you. If you want to know more about what you see on Sunday, our priest will be glad to meet with you in private.
