What to Expect

What are services like?
Sunday school meets at 9:45 ...we have a wide range of children, youth and adult classes. Our mens and womens groups meet on Wednesday. Additional groups are forming. Morning worship begins at 10:45 ...we serve five generations, so we blend our worship style (contemporary choruses and traditional hymns). We have a choir and praise team/band. Our pastor preaches for about 30 minutes in a conversational tone. Most people comment on how friendly and welcomed they feel.

Leadership

Eric Johnson

Eric and Jennifer Johnson joined Chattanooga First in 2008. Eric holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Religion from Olivet Nazarene University. He has served in full time ministry since 1994. Eric loves sharing the good news of a God who not only forgives sin, but who helps us with every aspect of life. If we let him, God will heal our hurts and direct our steps and strengthen our hearts so we can experience the kind of life we were created to live. Eric and Jennifer have two daughters Noelle and Selah.
