Reformed, traditional, Gospel Preaching, Bible Teaching, true to scripture

Chapel Woods Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church in America. We believe Scripture is our only rule of faith and practice and adhere to the Westminster Confession of Faith. We strive to be Acts 2:42 "They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." (Acts 2:42 NASB)

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our morning worship service is traditional. Every 2nd and 4th Sundays we have communion. Our Order of Worship is as follows: Prelude Welcome & Announcements Call to Worship Innvocation Opening Hymn Responsive Reading Offertory Doxology Apostle's Creed Gloria Patri Corporate Prayer and Confession Hymn of Preparation Scripture Sermon Hymn of Response Benediction

J. Robert Thompson, Jr.

Robert Thompson has been the senior pastor of Chapel Woods since May 2003. He graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary in 1986. Robert is also General Developer of Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship. He and his wife Wanda have been married for 39 years. They have three daughters, Amanda and twins Rebecca and Sarah. Amanda is married to Jerry Jones and they have three daughters of their own. Rebecca is married to Wesley Payton; they have a son. Sarah is married to Mark Magdziarz and they have one daughter and a son.
