What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship is both liturgical and Spirit-led. We eagerly anticipate that God will manifest His presence to us and we are open to the will of God--for laying-on-of hands for healing, deliverance, and other needs. We celebrate Holy Communion, with bread and wine, as Jesus commanded. Our clergy and altar workers wear robes, attire suitable to an occasion of high praise. We begin with up-beat contemporary praise and worship music and move into deep-heartfelt, "get on your knees" worship. We continue through reading of scripture, sermon, and prayers.

What is the community like?
It is a multi-generation congregation. We have a few young families, and some teenagers. It is mostly a middle-class congregation although that is not a requirement. At least half of the congregation are empty-nesters and many are of retirement age. The average attendance is 34. All of our members are Spirit-filled, having experienced the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Our Lord Jesus welcomed all people, whatever Spiritual state they were in--so do we. Although we don't want to leave them without hope. We are a friendly, loving congregation and open our arms to those of all races and colors. We do, however, expect that when someone attends for a longer period of time, they will accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior and will be open to the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
