What is the community like?
You can be yourself… Come as you are! You'll find coat and ties along with shorts and sneakers on a Sunday morning. If the weather is nice ride your bike or walk to us. We are located at the beginning/end of the Chalfont Walking/Biking Trail on Meadowbrook Lane. We'll have the refreshments out when you get here! Chalfont UMC wants to be the place where you can be yourself. We are all pilgrims on this journey and none of us has it all together. There is no need to hide your failures and pain, no need to say the ‘right words’, be a Biblical scholar, or pray a certain way. God loves you and accepts you just as you are and so do we.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Our focus… We seek to live out Jesus' commands by "loving God with our total being" and "loving our neighbors as ourselves." We describe God in three persons. God the Father (Creator), Jesus the Son (Savior), and the Holy Spirit (Sustainer) are commonly used to refer to the threefold nature of God. We believe in God’s Word (the Bible) and in the power of prayer. We welcome people with diverse faith backgrounds, personalities, and worship preferences. Join us! We believe the purpose of the church is to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to all people and we want to communicate this message of Christ’s love and forgiveness in a way that is meaningful and relevant.
