Central United Protestant Church

Central United Protestant Church

About Us

We are an active community of faith whose mission is making disciples. We do this best when we love people and lead them to Christ. We invite you to join us on this journey.
When you arrive, please visit our "Welcome Center" where you will receive information about our ministries for all ages.

At the Worship Service (10 am), you will experience a service that involves our chancel choir, hymn singing, hand bells and organ music. Our worship team uses hymns and praise choruses to lead us in our worship of God.
After service there is a Fellowship Hour to connect with people and enjoy coffee and snack food!
We're looking forward to meeting you!

What to Expect

What are services like?
Central Church offers two distinct services. Our 9 am service is very traditional with robes, the chancel choir, bell choir and pipe organ. Our 11 am service is contemporary with an energetic worship band. Both services have a a strong message from the Word of God. We gather around the Lord's Table once a month for communion.

What is the community like?
Visitors and guests to Central Church will find a very friendly and inviting atmosphere. There are plenty of opportunities to build relationships and make life-long friends through our Life Groups, various classes and gatherings. It is a multi-generational congregation with young and elderly mixing in all worship services, classes and community service opportunities.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Non-christians will find a non-threatening atmostphere at Central Church. We recognize that everyone is in a different place in their own spiritual journey toward God and that God works by His Spirit in various ways people's lives. Cental Church regularly offers the Alpha Course for people with questions and also hosts Celebrate Recovery for those struggling with life's hurts, hang-ups and habits.
