Central Baptist is a local bible-believing Church nestled in-between Hobart and Portage. We offer programs for teens, kids and adults of all ages on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. We are bible based, family oriented, and hope to see you soon!

What to Expect

What are services like?
The services usually run about an hour or a bit more. We start with our praise band singing a few songs, a time to greet those around you, then we get into our message from the Pastor. We conclude with a song or two and head off to serve Christ!

What is the community like?
Very mixed. We have a lot of younger couples with smaller children, a good amount of "Senior saints" and everything in-between!

What if I'm not a Christian?
We all weren't at some point and we have people who have been through what you are going through. If you have questions about what it means to be a Christian, or why you would want to be, stop by and talk. We've all been there!

Leadership

David Webb

Pastor David Webb has pastored Central Baptist Church since January, 1998. He was born and raised in Kokomo,Indiana in a wonderful Christian home, and came to know Christ at an early age. Pastor Webb has both Bible College and Seminary degrees. He graduated from Grace Theological Seminary in 1982 with a Th.M. (Master of Theology).
