We are a body of believers participating on mission with God to reach folks with the gospel of Jesus Christ, through being in their lives. All Christ followers are the called and sent people we are here to rally around one another to see the mission lived out.

We may be the alternative to what you have known as the "church". We meet you where you are and we believe that you have a calling on your life no matter where you have been.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our morning service meets out in the world. You might see us at the local park or you might see us at the local housing authority. Either way, when you see us we are praising God for the way He has knit us all together for His purpose of bringing the gospel to life. We worship openly together and every attender is a part of the gathering. You are encouraged to speak out in prayer or to listen attentively to how God is speaking to you through the music or message.

What is the community like?
We are quite the group at CLIC. We have professional people as well as young adults and those who are still finding their place in this world. Our goal is to be in each and everyone's life so that we can know when each other is hurting or celebrating or just in need of someone to talk to. We believe that is the way that God intended His church to work. He wants us to be in community with each other and our world as well. There is a mixed bag at CLIC but we are teaching each other every day to love God and the world around us.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We hold nothing against anyone without a professed faith in Jesus. Jesus himself called on fishermen, prostitutes and tax collectors and called them friend. Don't be deceived though we do preach biblical adherence to God's word but we believe that you get that on your own. We have three rules at CLIC: 1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and strength. 2. Love your neighbor as yourself. 3. Do whatever you want. We are firm in the fact that God has a plan for everyone, but we are all at different stages in our lives to receive the message that God has for us.

Leadership

Luke and Dianne Telford

Luke and DIanne Telford are the founding and lead pastors at Center for Living In Christ. Luke is the full time pastor at CLIC and Dianne is a analyst at a local company for the last 21 years. Luke and DIanne have been married for 8 years and have four children. Luke and Dianne's life was changed forever when God saw fit to bring them together in 2003 and then call them into ministry together. Since that time they have launched a successful sports ministry that is still running today in the Fox Valley and they have been involved with the Simple Church model for many years. Luke was licensed as a Foursquare pastor in 2012 and the church was registered that same year.
