Calvary is a family of redeemed people of all ages, which longs to be constantly formed and re-formed by the Word of God faithfully preached and studied. Our goals are not earthly (largeness, popularity) but spiritual: That each member may be conformed to the beauty of Christ, that Covenant Families might honor and serve God together, that the Gospel of freedom in Jesus Christ our Lord might be freely offered to those without God in this world, and that we might worship the Lord as He wills to be worshiped and encourage and build up one-another in growing holiness, peace, and love to ardently labor in the power of the Holy Spirit for the advancement of the triumph of the Grace of god in Christ and the filling of the earth with His Light and salvation.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Preaching of the Inspired Word of God is the Central Means of Grace. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated each Lord's Day, We joyfully sing together the great hymns and inspired Psalms, the congregation shares prayer needs and praises for the Lord's goodness and mercies, we join in the Lord's Prayer each time we gather, we welcome all people into worship and the warmth and safety of Christ's Church and receive into communicant membership those professing Christ, Covenant Children are received through Baptism into membership and into Communion upon their profession of Faith, we enjoy several small group bible studies, we are governed spiritually by the Bible through a local Session, regional Presbytery, and General Synod.

What is the community like?
Warm, a loving spiritual family, a helping and caring refuge for those in spiritual need and physical distress, a church with a heart open to the work of the Lord in all His churches, open arms to embrace even the most broken of lives in the tenderness and acceptance of Christ, committed to discipleship of all our members.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We are all sinners, hopelessly lost in this world apart from the free and wonderful work of Jesus Christ. The doors are open to all, Christ is available to all who will call upon Him, we want to share His reconciliation with those who as yet have not Known Him. We pray that God the Father will draw people to us that we might serve them. Christ said "If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to myself!"
