About Us
Here at The Promise we hold to the sufficiency of scripture. That we are saved by grace and grace alone. We worship the One and Only triune God of the Bible and we take Jesus' commision to create disciples very serious. We believe that Discipleship starts in the home. We love families and therefore families are our mission field. We see the call God has placed on the family unit and we strive to equip and support the families of the church. Helping men to become the men God has called them to be. Men that are able to lead, protect and love their wives and children. Equipping the ladies to be the Proverbs 31 women God has created them to be. Women that know how to support, respect and love their husbands and children. We believe that children are a blessing from the Lord and should be treated as such. We love kids and believe the best way for children to grow and learn is to watch those older then them. We see Jesus calling the kids to Him meaning He taught them right along side of their parents. Keeping the family unit together as they learned and grew in their faith. We take the example Christ laid out and do Sunday morning the same. The Promise is an age integrated church. Our Sunday mornings are geared for family growth together rather then family segregated growth. We "Love all and worship One" here at The Promise. Leadership
Eldon Stephenson
Eldon has been Senior pastor here at The Promise for 6 years and everyone here loves him. He has a passion for the families of this country and has a desire to see the next generation of the church have a faith that is so strong that it puts the faith of this generation to shame. Eldon started his ministry career in youth ministries back in the 90's and has taken his fun loving, exciting and passionate personality to the pulpit. Eldon loves people, loves to talk and get to know anyone he gets the opportunity to meet.Location & Directions
