It’s our vision at CC Surfside, to be there at our crossroads, the beaches, and to be the ones to point people to the ancient path, the path of Almighty God, the Good Way of Jesus Christ. And what is so cool is that we know that this Good Way, based entirely on the Good News, will lead to rest and peace for the souls of those who walk in it! We’ve seen it happen in our own lives!
We want to point our fellow Surfsiders who call our beach communities Home, to genuine worship, to sincere study of God’s Word, explained in a way that makes sense and directs our lives. We want to welcome new believers into a community, a fellowship of Christian love. We want to be there for each other every day. Together, we want to come to know Christ more and more. What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are casual but sincere. We begin with a time of singing vibrant and meaningful contemporary Praise and Worship songs, intermixed with more meditative and reflective songs of faith. We also love the old hymns and just add a bit of contemporary arrangement to them letting their powerful lyrics continue to bless a new generation of believers. Our sermon or teaching style is the expositional study of a book of the Bible, going verse by verse and chapter by chapter to assure we are learning God's truth in it's proper context.

What is the community like?
Our Fellowship of believers at CC Surfside are primarily beach folks, who love being near the ocean and have chosen to live sea side. We thus share much in our appreciation of God's Creation, from surfing and swimming to fishing and boating and many other activities which give us ways of spending time together. But we also want to be a cross-section of our community that in all ways is seeking to point people to Jesus Christ, in order for them to discover a life-changing genuine relationship with Him. We desire to be the Hands and Feet of Christ in our beachside communities.

What if I'm not a Christian?
That's why we're here, to offer a non-threatening environment to sit back and learn more about our Savior, Jesus Christ and why you need a strong faith-based dimension to your life. Christ is our bridge back to personal relationship with our Creator, God. We want to introduce you to the very Word of God, the Bible, the only, the true, the oldest and most continuous dialog between God and man in existence. We study the WORD verse by verse, chapter by chapter and book by book in order to hear the full counsel of God for our lives today. It's utterly relevant and understandable.
